Alfred Rosenberg - The Chief Nazi Ideologue Documentary

Alfred Rosenberg's The Myth of the Twentieth Century, the occupied Eastern Territories and the Nuremberg trial: a documentary on the Nazi ideologue. Alfred Rosenberg studied architecture before moving to Munich. Born in 1893 in Reval (now Tallinn, Estonia), then in the Russian Empire, he joined the Nazi movement, edited its newspaper, the Völkischer Beobachter, and published The Myth of the Twentieth Century in 1930. As the party's chief racial theorist he led its Foreign Policy Office and the Hohe Schule, from which the Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg developed, an organisation that looted art, especially in Paris, and from 1941 he served as Reich Minister for the Occupied Eastern Territories. Captured in 1945, he was found guilty on all four counts at the Nuremberg trials and hanged on 16 October 1946.
